Pilates for Stomach and Core Muscles

Whether you love or hate working your core muscles, one thing is clear – core exercises are an important part of a well-rounded workout routine. A strong core improves balance and stability and can improve your performance in a variety of exercises and activities, from playing sports to daily activities.

The core muscle group is made up of as many as 35 different muscles connecting your torso, spine, hips and pelvis. Because there are so many muscles included in the core, I like to use dynamic exercises (like pilates) to strengthen and tone this region and to work my inner abdominal wall.
